Activity day FAQ
How do I book an activity day?
The first step is to contact us so that we can discuss your needs, check availability and put together a quotation. We recommend booking early as weekend dates in particular fill quickly.
We expect to bring a lot of young people from different groups, how will the activities be assigned?
We can run your activity day in different ways – from pre-assigned activity sessions, to free-flow ‘drop in’ availability where participants can move from activity to activity at their own pace. We can discuss the options based on the expected numbers and your preferences.
Can we arrange a site visit to help our planning?
Absolutely, our team would be happy to arrange this with you to help the day run smoothly.
How does it work with parents dropping young people off?
We have a large amount of parking and overflow parking on site. For large events we operate a one-way drop off process to keep traffic flowing. We would encourage car sharing and staggered arrivals/departures where possible to help avoid congestion. Our team are experienced in running events of different sizes and can discuss this with you.
Are we able to use a sound system to address everyone together?
Our Kentish Barn has a permanently installed sound system including microphones and audio/visual equipment. Other spaces around the site also have audio/visual equipment for smaller sessions.
